Hikaru Utada’s official website recently announced that the singer will be making a visit to five stores in the U.S. to promote her latest English language album, This is the One.
For Utada, it is hoped that this album is the one. Despite setting a record for digital sales last year (Utada is the best-selling artist in the digital realm of all time), her first English language album failed to meet expectations. Utada has a loyal fan base, however, who turn out in droves so see her stateside appearances, and this tour is expected to be no exception.
Utada will be visiting Best Buy in New York City, Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, FYE and Best Buy in San Fransisco and FYE in Seattle.
