An anime adaptation of the Monthly Dragon Age manga series Maken-Ki! has been announced, according to the comic anthology’s website.
About to join his childhood friend Haruko at her school, Takeru comes to find out most of its students are buxom young women. After meeting Inaho, a girl who claims him as her fiancé, and Kodama, who says she wants to kill him, things really get odd – the school’s student body possess magical items called Maken with which they duel each other.
The manga began in Dragon Age Pure, but moved to Dragon Age Monthly when the magazine was cancelled.
No details have been released on when the series will appear.
