In a move to promote Asmik’s latest film, Yahoo! Japan recently posted the first five minutes of the trailer for Blood: The Last Vampire.
Based on a anime series of the same name, the film was picked up for the U.S. market with a dub on the way. The movie is about a half-vampire, half human who hunts the nocturnal creatures. The scene opens with a pretty interesting hunt scene on a train in Tokyo in 1970.

Sony has been announced that it has acquired the U.S. release rights to the upcoming live action Blood: The Last Vampire. The film will play in U.S. Theaters as early as this summer in English.

Apparently Yahoo! Japan has now posted a full trailer for Blood: The Last Vampire. The film is a live adaptation of a manga and anime of the same name, featuring a 16-year-old human/vampire hybrid on a mission to hunt demons. In the film, she must infiltrate a military base to destroy her nemesis, Onigen. Check it out here:
